Account Management

1. Permanently Deleting Your Account

Permanently deleting your coSociale account is irreversible. Please review the consequences before proceeding.

1.1 Consequences

  • Irreversible Data Deletion: All profile data, posts, scheduled content, analytics, and settings will be permanently erased.
  • Loss of Access: You will no longer be able to access coSociale or any connected services.
  • Disconnected Third-Party Integrations: All linked accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) will be unlinked.
  • Media Removal: Uploaded media (images, videos, files) will be deleted. Download before deletion.

⚠️ Once deletion is finalized, recovery is not possible.

1.2 How to Delete

  1. Log in to your coSociale account.
  2. Go to Account Settings → Account Ownership & Control.
  3. Click Delete Account and follow prompts.

Notes:

  • Deletion completes in 30 days.
  • Cancel deletion anytime within 30 days via Cancel Deletion.
  • After 30 days, all data is permanently erased.

2. Temporarily Deactivating Your Account

Pause your account while keeping data intact.

2.1 Effects

  • Profile Hidden: Your profile and activity are not publicly visible.
  • Limited Access: Core features may remain accessible.
  • Scheduled Posts: Queued posts remain and resume upon reactivation.
  • Reactivation: Log in anytime to restore your account.

ℹ️ Deactivation does not delete your data.

2.2 How to Deactivate

  1. Log in and navigate to Account Settings → Account Ownership & Control.
  2. Click Deactivate Account and follow instructions.

Notes:

  • Account stays inactive until you log back in.
  • Non-essential communications paused during deactivation.

3. Downloading Your Data

Download your data before deleting or deactivating your account.

3.1 Steps

  1. Log in → Account Settings → Data & Privacy → Download Your Data.
  2. Select the information to export.
  3. Confirm request.

Notes:

  • Processing time depends on data volume.
  • Notification sent when file is ready.
  • Download promptly; access may be limited.

4. Managing Individual Profiles

Delete or deactivate specific profiles without affecting others.

4.1 Steps

  1. Log in → Account Settings → Profiles.
  2. Select profile → Delete Profile or Deactivate Profile.

Notes:

  • Only the selected profile is affected.
  • Deleted profiles cannot be recovered.
  • Deactivated profiles can be reactivated later.

5. Reactivating Your Account

Reactivate previously deactivated accounts.

5.1 Steps

  1. Log in at https://cosociale.com.
  2. Temporarily deactivated accounts reactivate automatically.
  3. All content, settings, and profiles are restored.

Notes:

  • Permanently deleted accounts cannot be reactivated.
  • Cancel deletion within 30 days if applicable.

6. Managing Consent and Cookies

coSociale uses cookies for functionality and personalization.

Options:

  • Cookie Preferences: Accept/reject via banner.
  • Update Consent: Manage via Cookies Policy.
  • Browser Settings: Block or delete cookies via browser.

Essential cookies cannot be disabled.

Cookie Types:

  • Essential: Required for basic functionality.
  • Analytics: Track site usage for improvements.
  • Marketing: Ads & promotions (consent-based).

7. What Happens After Deletion

  • Timeline: All personal data deleted within 30 days.
  • Service Access: Immediate loss.
  • No Recovery: Once deleted, cannot restore.
  • Residual Data: Anonymized or aggregated data may remain per Privacy Policy.
  • Third-Party Data: Subject to their policies.
